It has just came to mind that we post ride outs on the open forum indicating where when and at what time! Those of you that like to be progressive in their journey from a to b perhaps would prefer to be a little more circumspect with posts to this regard? The siting of mobile cameras do not need your help ?

    Just a thought

    Good point...

Plus potential advert for carpark full of shiny trick bikes.

Could we make the events, ride outs section members only?

I feel the best way would be to PM each other. if this can be done in by a group PM? So only people going need to be aware of meeting times and places

Well they would be wasting their time waiting for me :D

I think your on something though Carl. IMO too much information can be seen.
It should be limited to one or two lines of a thread, unless your a member.
Members info and their home page should not be allowed to be accessed by non members.
    And So on. ????

I didn't even think of this . Agreed that PM's are the only secure way at the moment

I think this is a good idea, I have visited the sister Ducati site a few times over the months and much of which you can't read or see unless your a member. Could we not just apply the same systems to 1000rr ?

It could force some people to join the site, at the moment you can see virtually every thread without joining. This would increase the member count, which would not be a bad thing, also it would allow the members a little more privacy when discussing meets etc :)
