I had an amazing ride into work today. The roads in the south are almost bone dry at the moment (albeit with a bit of salt added into the mix). I had the confidence to really open it up on the way in. You forget just how quick the bike is when riding in the crappy winter conditions.

Roll on summer, leathers, hot tarmac and squidgy tyres :Banane08:

And the bloody potholes & gravely debris left in at the edges/middle of the road. Had the back end squirm a bit when I must of crossed a bit just as well I was going steady ish at that point.
Had to give the bike a spray with some FS365 stuff some of the bolts started looking fury.

Can't wait for warmer weather and my first service out of the way.

What tyres do you have? I'm still on the stock BT015's but considering either the Dunlop SportSmarts or Michelin Pilot Pure for next time. Must admit I've had a couple of rear wheel spin ups on with the 015's that I never had on my Repsol that had BT016's.

Standard 015's but I don't think it would of made any difference what tyre it was it slipped on the road crap on a country lane.
