Brilliant Tony. I love cold water cruises. Did Iceland and Norway. Missed out on the Baltic one. Shame as Mikhail Gorbachev was the guest speaker on that one. Would have been nice to share a coffee with a Nobel Laureate.
Brilliant Cruise, I used to work for Princess Cruises, for 16yrs. I'm guessing your going to St Peterburg, Talin, etc........ You'll love it.
This is the second time we have done this particular trip, we did the same trip on the Carnival Legend 18 months ago, but this time we are taking our daughter with us. Next one planned is Hawai later in the year.
You'll probably enjoy the Azure a lot more than the Carnival ship. A little more luxury on the Azure. I worked for P&O for five years, before I was moved over to their Princess Cruises fleet, ended up working out of the USA and lived just outside Los Angeles for 12 years, only came back home seven years ago. Loved every minute of working onboard.
I just spent 12 nights on the Anthem of the seas around Spain and the canaries, thoroughly enjoyed it
