Genuinely gutted to hear this news - always came across as a decent guy and enjoy watching the tv shows with Si King, not for the cooking but the crack they have and where they get to on their travels. Just started watching the latest series The Hairy Bikers Go West and whilst obviously his illness had taken its toll he looked to be over the worst and well on the way back. So a proper shock to hear he passed away yesterday. No details for the cause of death (he’s never revealed what his cancer was) which I can respect, but assume it was related to his illness. Having been through the mill over the last two years and then getting back to where he could ride the bike again and produce the new series it feels particularly cruel. RIP Dave Myers and all my sympathies to your family and friends.
