Bargain mate absolute bargain. paid way more for mine last summer, having said that mine are not fairing well this winter.
Damn was gonna pick these up if my order for watsens hadn't gone through but I still haven't heard from them :-(
Sure they replied me about the fronts but decided to add a universal set to the rear so that's what I didn't hear back about. I like the look of these though. Will defo get a set if I dOnt get wastens for the back.
Thanks RR just couldn't bring myself to spend 85 on a new set! Had my eye on these for 12 months now haha
Love these indicators but any idea what the flat circuit board is inline with the resistors? (Thing with the barcode sticker on it) I have a led flasher unit so installed these without resistors but left the little square board inline thought perhaps it was something to make them brighter or flash softer but they flash very fast... Soldered them in so now it's a pain to remove grrr
FFS, I stalk the forums all week for bits I might want and these are on my list as you cant get these in black anymore. I turn my back and these pop up and BOOM, gone.
What little things? On my Oxford Eyeshot Nanos there was an extra boxy bit as well as the inline resistors. They didn't work without them and I did wonder if it is some form of voltage modifier as the LEDs are extra bright, something like a HID ballast. Here's a pic of the nanos. The extra box is the one with the 1 watt label on it.
Hi Lamchops. Sorry for a late reply only just seen this. Sorry I have no idea what that component is. I ordered them specific for a Blade and just followed the fitting instructions. I think some models required more resistors than others but cannot remember. The set up I had was obviously for an 08 Blade. I used the Indy leads that I sent with the indicators and they were plug and play. I guess as you have an LED relay installed and I didn't this is where the possible problem and therefore solution would lie. I would suggest removing the LED relay and set up as I did and they will work perfectly or alternatively some how work out what resistors you need to remove to work with your LED relay. Sorry not too helpful but I'm not an expert with electrics and can only pass on what worked for me. Hope the above is helpful.
Thanks Blade, ok no worries I will have a play around and add the resistors again I think and see what the score is. Cheers buddy
Led relays flash at a set rate no matter what the load so will operate bulbs or leds. Problem is that if you lose an indicator the other still flashes normal speed so you don't know one is not working, hope that makes sense.
