Have any of you seen this guy's Youtube videos ?

He stands at the same corner on a road in California filming people falling off their bikes. At first I was just thinking dumb Yanks, but the sheer number of accidents at this one bend is amazing.

Not see that channel but have seen them clips on there in the past. Agreed if there was that many accidents on a road over in the UK they would do something about it

    only in America

There are some real funny drops , 1 guy drops his bike, hits the railing and catapults him self over the rails and down the hill into the hedge . Sounds bad but it is at slow speeds so funny as hell

We have a good few roads to match that up here in Scotland guy's, you lot really need to come north of the border and check them out, Dalwhinnie to Spean Bridge is just one of the popular runs, its probably less than 20 miles but ive known guy's to run up and down that stretch all day...........oh and the scenery is breathtaking along the side of Loch laggan (Google maps )

    Hey folks,

I was watching some vids on YouTube and came across these. I had seen most of them before but a few were new. I Googled rnickeymouse and came across this site.

I live in SoCal and have ridden Mullholland more times than I can remember and have ridden that stretch many times. I have to honestly say that if I ever meet rnickeymouse and his little band of accident-chasers I'm pretty sure words will be exchanged and the cameras will be turned off.

At best, this is a person that revels and finds some sort of perverted glee in watching bike after bike go down in the exact same spot and not do one thing to warn other riders of impending doom. What kind of rider would not just hang out to watch the carnage but show up weekend after weekend to film for his 15 minutes of fame on the Internet? No one I would ever want to ride with. I a couple of earlier vids (since removed) I actually heard someone say, "Get ready, here comes another one".

At worst, and this is what I suspect, these lowsides are manufactured. Staged. Only the riders don't know it. I have gone through that stretch lots of times. Midweek, late afternoon on the weekends (to avoid all the Rossi wannabees) and have had not problems, at all. During the summer the tires get pretty sticky and the road is clean. No gravel or dirt. I don't drag a knee (leave that for the track) but it's a spirited ride. Again, no issues with me or anyone else for that matter. But get a couple of cameras out there and a group of people watching... everybody loses the front end or the rear kicks out. IN THE EXACT SAME SPOT?

Notice, not many folks go to help the downed riders and the cameraman seems to track the bikes perfectly. I and my son have filmed lots of bikes on ACH and Ortega (two well known rides in SoCal) and have watch professional phototographers and videographers to their craft. In the event of a crash they get the shot then head off to help the rider. Because it's not EXPECTED! Also notice, no one ever goes to inspect the road. You would think after three wrecks in a row at the same spot there would be some concern or at least the minimum of curiosity "What the frig is on the road?!!" I don't believe that these are random. I believe they're caused.

If I am wrong, I will apologize to this guy's face, but again... it's not that bad or dangerous of a road. The bikes in the vids are under control and not going that fast. Something is just not right.

My son has only been riding for a few months (trainer's permit). He only rides in gear, daylight hours and no highways (it's the law until he gets his full license). He may be 21 but I have forbidden him from riding Mullholland, not because he can't handle the ride, but because of crap like this.

Because if he were to go down at that spot under these circumstances... somebody is going to get beatdown and I guarantee that won't be on YouTube.
