Afternoon all, just spent a while getting the blade nice and shiny for a nice road trip out to assen for the BSB. We're up nice and early in the morning to check into the euro tunnel at half four for the 5.05 train to Calais. I can not wait! Me and spudkent1 are going spudkent on his vfr as he as a pillion. We're watching the race in Assen then making our way through Germany, Belguim, back into France. We're doIng rides three day route to assen on the way home backwards with a couple more days after in France doing some more routes. Anyone else off out there tomorrow?
I wish, run out of brownie points with her indoors as I been to so many bike related events this year, haps next year.
Unfortunately not. Until 2 years ago having done the GP at Assen for 30 years, the WSB meet is somewhat tame by comparison, but it is a good trip to a good circuit and will hopefully give you the flavour or what the TT weekend is like when there are 3 times the number of bikes and people in attandance.
