Made a booking to do the premier class in the summer today. Anyone done this? How was the experience?
Great day, myself, colin and shinysideup did it in August last year and we all plan to return for the elite course this year
Superb, Im really looking forward to it, 5 of us all in heading down so should be hoot! Hope I dont bin it though, Never live it down.....
It's a great day, and as Martin says we will be doing it again this year. Really boosted my confidence on the bike.
Faster than a repsol though, I hear Just noticed, my avatar picture was taken at same place as your picture above I think? Love Donington, great track
Simon I can't take you seriously with them repsol stickers on yours, shaved seconds off your time though I bet! Your a little closest repsol fan
Hi mate, Did the premier and elite when they were at silverstone, got held up in the premier as the guy I was paired with was pretty slow (not that I'm a Marquez) even the instructor commented but he did his best to accomodate, but still enjoyed it. Elite was just another level awesome day, loads more track time and an analysis after each session, throttle, brake, gear etc If you like the premier you'll love the elite!
You could do the elite on the 16th July Bob, there will be a good few of us riding down from Aberdeen for the Premier.
Might join you............and collect my Rowies !! Seriously though i did it at Silverstone and it was a great day............not as much track time as a normal day but better tuition in technique and if your lucky you might get Ron himself !
Yeah I was making good progress with my one to one tutor until Leon came past and while going round a corner grabbed my instructors boot. I don't know who sh*t themselves more lol
What a amazing day i did mine about 6 or 7 years ago at Donnington, the weather was spot on but what made it so special was it was my first time on a track. I remember the feeling of such a open space, no trees, cars, pot holes and all the other stuff that hinders road riding but the best thing that came out of it was it took away my craving to see how far i could push the limit on the road. Getting my fix on the track made me a safer road rider
