    Hi guys

Have any of you been to a Ron Haslam Race School day?
My mate planted the seed yesterday and I've had a look on the site, and quite fancy it.

    Yup but it's pants.
I went to knockhill for a beginners trackday but the track is too small and nadgery to really learn anything. The Ron Haslam Race School also supplies the bike, leathers, boots, gloves, helmet, and insurance all included in the price.

    GROUP BUY!!!!!! ;)

I want to this been told it's a good day out, but you will learn much much more with some one on one tuition at a track day which is considerably cheaper. I'm up for it just for the experience!

i fancied doing the Ron Haslam school still might, it looks a bit dearer than your own bike but then factor in a new tyre or set, a service, transporting your bike there and back, and the fact you get tuition and it looks like a cracking deal, it is meant to be really good

Think I will. I'll probably head down early in the morning, do it that day, then stay overnight for a few beers, then head back up the next day.

It's not that bad considering mate. Especially as your fully covered, even for personal accident, that and it's not ur bike, tyres fuel or gear your tearing up.
The main reason I'm doing it is for some extra training mate. It's Been 3 Years since I had any and I know I could do with some.

If I read correctly you have to complete the 600 course before you can get on the 'Blade?

Yup that's right mate. Wouldn't mind doing it on the cbr600. It's not really about top speed. It's more about the cornering and technique.
