Four more days to go, before me and pal set off for the R Napoleon.

Kreiga packed, Sat Nav programmed, Spare oil

    Just hope for dry weather.

    2000 miles in 6 days.

    Good introduction into Blade ownership..

Mate thought it would be a good idea to have bike to bike communication (think not:() 'Sorry what u saying I cant hear you':D

Enjoy the trip fella. I'm now resting up for the day in Chamonix after riding Route Napoleon bottom to top over the last couple of days, and a day in the Gorges du Verdon. It's a good trip, some great sections, plenty to keep you occupied. You'll be well acquainted with your blade by the time you get home for sure!

    Have a great trip, enjoy!

Honestly mate you will right laugh over it. We did...

How long you got down there, make sure you peel off and go and look at the gorge de verdon by castellane, worth the d tour, not too far, awesome roads and amazing scenery.

Watch for police from Digne Le Bains to Castellane on main road - saw 2 groups of UK bikes getting tickets. both times about 5 - 10 miles from Digne

I'm in Castellane right now. It's pissing it down. To be fair though the weather has been superb up until this morning.

And......ahem......I have personal experience of the speed traps between Baremme and Castellane. €750 plus a six month ban.

    Thanks for the warning...
Next weekend is Moto gp at Misano, so not sure if this route will be chosen by some spectators, could result in extra speed traps..

They clocked me at 94.5 mph.....which feels like walking pace on the N85.
