I'm thinking of selling the Blade and was wondering what people think is a reasonable pricing level for one. The bike's got about 18,000 miles on it and is in good condition with full service history. Not many mods. Just a Yoshi RS-5. New back tyre. Not looking to take the piss or overvalue it. I don't want to be one of those people who overvalues their bike
Could draw someone in on a google search, someone maybe after a 2nd bike, comuter, winter hack to keep SP clean, track bike etc
That's actually quite a good point. Are there any parts worth selling separately to help raise cash. Even a p/x for standard parts may help?
yes going back to standard and then selling your bits would give you more money I have all my standard bits saved and will put them all back on to sell, including the full exhaust, rear shock, PC3 and OEM fairing, it will get about the same price then sell all my bits for nice bit extra
Lol! The bike will be getting sold as is, I'm afraid. I can't be arsed taking the bits off it. Lazy swine that I are.
The plan is to get a KTM 950 SM, mate. I just feel like I'm not using the Blade enough because I can't be arsed to get it out of the garage and get leathered up. Then it's either too cold, too hot, too wet etc. There's no way I want to go full BMW GS or something but I figure if I get myself some textiles, a Supermoto type bike I can still have a load of fun riding but I might actually want to get out more and go places rather than just leathering up and looking to be going triple digit speeds everywhere. Either way I'm sure I'll probably come back to Blades at some point. Maybe I just fancy a change.......I dunno....
Also I figure that with some waterproof textiles and some Pilot Road 4s on the KTM it might extend my riding season beyond the usual May - October.
