    Hi guys,

Got an odd one, recently fitted a new led tail light for my 05.
Having had a nackered battery for a few weeks now, managed to get the bike started today to find the light is permanently on? Thought it was the light so switch back to the old one and exactly the same? The brake light isn't working either, tried front lever and rear neither make a difference!!!!
All fuses have been checked and ok.

Any ideas guys, I've googled but haven't managed to find much..... Read it could be a brake sensor? Any ideas where this is?

    Thanks
    Hedges

Yep, there's one on the right lever and one on a spring below the right foot peg. Try the rear one first as it may just need adjusting in a bit.

Is the light plug and play or did you have to spice wires to fit? Could be you've crossed the running light and brake!

If not spray wd40 or contact cleaner into the brake lights switches should sort it as said above they can stick but usually stick open rather than closed like the problem you're having

Cheers guys, I'll take a look at the brake sensor switches, fingers crossed!
Sps170373 it's a plug and play which I got from Germany.

    Thanks
    Hedges

Are you talking about when the ignition is switched on, or all the time?

Sounds like a sticking switch to me... Disconnect the front and rear to see, then reinstall working out what ones causing the issue ....
