Yeah more exhaust tech thread, But after advice on how my bike is behaving after fitting the scorpion i m gonna need one fitted more expense but looking at second hand prob ebay, what do i need to look out for? a garage said id fit it all for £100 Thanks again..
Just won one on ebay used on same year bike with a scorpion so should be fine from the off, if anyone is in the sheffield area and fancy lendig a hand that would fantastic
look it up on youtube, its simple I done it and I am a chef so not my area of expertise!Just remember your connecting to the botton plugs, and you will have to set the trottle position sensor all is on Dynojets website.
cant seem to download any of the files off dynojet.co.uk would i need to up load the disc what comes with it first or is my computer?
works for me, try that 2004-2005 maps PCIII running software also note you need winzip to unpack the software
Cheers pal yeah winzip is the problem, ill wait till it comes hopefully instructions are with it as its set up for the scorpion already
It's real easy to do, as said unzip the maps into a folder then load the one you want in the software and send it the the PC, take into account that a PC3 needs to be powered by a 9v batt if loading maps, also don't forget to check the throttle position in the software as if not calibrated your map will be miles out! No one does this and it's critical to the function on the PC!
I fitted a PC5 to my 04RR last month, took about 2 hours and I was taking my time. It wasn't difficult just a bit fiddly at times. Bike fired up immediately once fitted too..
fiited mine today and yes the throttle is out is it easy to sort do you have to plug it in and do oyu need to be online??
On the Dynojet site it tell you how to do it.ya have to plug it into your laptop where your maps are.
