RR5 - Standard Exhaust Cover (rear)

    For some reason, cant use Tapatalk to post??

    Putting the standard exhaust back on my RR5...

    anyone know what goes in these 2 holes (one on either side) i dont think its a nut and bolt..maybe rubber gromit type things?

    anyone know

    Yup for the original number plate holder...

    There is nothing for the nut and bolt to hold to...unless it attaches to the heat shield that I have not put on...

    This is on the other side of the hole..and there is 1 - 2cm gap

    Mine just had a big screw in it, through to heat shield maybe? can't remember

    Looking at the picture looks like it goes into the heat shield...

    Will pick up the shield from my brothers house tomorrow and check on that case..

    Just want the bike back together so I can advertise it...

    Attaches to the metal heat shield that sits above the exhaust (not fitted in your pic)

    Ah ok..so I have to fit the shield..

    Yep can see the shield in Simons picture...don't have the nuts for it...hoping normal but and bolt will do the job...maybe..?

    All sorted...thanks for all the help..

    it did screw into the heat shield...
