RR6 Custom Seat

Hi all,

Honda do not make an e seat for pre 08 Blades. I want a custom seat for my bike, have looked at Saddlemen, Corbin and Sargeant.

Any others I could look at ? also any plus or minus comments on the three manufacturers would be appreciated.

Some places will fit a gel insert into the original seat for you mate. Can't remember the name of a particular company, but they tend to be at the bike shows.

Saddlemen are brilliant, I had my old CBR600 seat re-done and the workmanship was top notch.

The prices aren't too bad dependant on the complexity of the design you want.

I had 3 colours in mine and a custom logo and I paid just over £110 including P&P both directions.

 

Any reviews on Corbin seats ?

 

Thanks Colin and Merlin. I want a more unique look rather than comfort, but it must also be functional.

I did read a couple of negative reviews on the fit of saddlemen, but then there were a lot of positive ones as well.

I have two Luimoto covers but take note they are just covers, speedycom.co.uk have just become uk dealers but IMO its cheaper to buy direct from what I saw with the trade price list! Also my 848 cover is a little slippy but looks cool!

I've got a Corbin fitted to my RR6 much more comfortable on a long journey than the original!

 

I bought an unused ripped seat from fleabay, £6.
Then I had it recovered in alcantara and carbon leather with embroidered lettering for £100, and a gel pad inserted.

Loving the seats guys, they look much better than on the web sites they advertise on.Thanks for your help, now the choice is getting harder as the options increase lol. perhaps i should get 5 or six done.....i wish.
