RR7 plastics on an RR5

    Just wondered if anyone has fitted (or knows if its possible) RR7 oem tank cover, fairing and tail plastics to an RR5...?

    The radiator is bigger on the RR5 so harder to fit but not impossible, hump fitted some RR7 hanspree ones last year and they looked good

    I quite fancy the white/red/black and It`d be nice to acquire a set of genuine plastics...but obviously only if I can get them to fit without too much swearing and alcohol consumption....

    Yep HRC, you will prob find it hard/expensive for a decent set

    Well yea probably mate...I suppose I could source it one panel at a time kinda thing!
    My care-free side says go Chinese but I'm just not sure enough to part company with the coin and chance it paying off..!

    There are some company's that are supposed to be really good

    Auchmarts look a decent outfit and have some great colour schemes

    Just read an article on the auctmarts fairings...its not too good to be fair, very nice looking and finish BUT pi**poor preparation...pealing paint, no primer etc...:-/

    Just to resurrect this...does anyone know if Hump is still active on here? I'm wondering if Honda would've altered the fairing mounting points/brackets when designing the RR7 fairing? I'd have imagined it'd been an unnecessary cost but y'never know! I'd like to think it'd be a straight forward bolt on to existing mounting points but a bit of advice from someone who's done it would be a great help..!

    I think he just bent a few too fit and made a couple of brackets, not seen him on here for a while but send a pm and I'm sure he will get it

    Hrc is red white and blue,a very dark blue but blue and I bought a 05 hump for my 07 it fits perfect
