    Hi all,

I'm keen to explore the possibility of fitting the LCD bar graph version dash from new blades onto my '08 Blade. I know the electrical loom connector is different and would source the necessary version.

Has anyone done this? Is it really worth the effort?

    Cheers :)

Yup, Ben, aka Toby Lerone is the man to talk to. If we could Afford I have them on the race bike then we would in a heartbeat, same goes with the shifters, simply best you can get.

Going back to blade dash, I don't think I will fit, Certainly if it did not easily! The front subloom, brackets etc are
    All different.

Going to sound stupid, does the GPS know when you have crossed the start/finish line and start/stop the lap timer then or so you still have to press it to start and stop? Also is it build in the dash or do you have to buy a receiver?

Sorry mate, don't know exactly how it works but my understanding is that the gps is built into the clocks, when you cross the same point that's your lap. In theory it could be a lap of brands or a lap of the world, as long as you cross the same point. Exactly how you set it to start and stop, don't know.

Art ad co, keep me honest!

Call Ben at HM, he'll tell you exactly how it works.

Several ways to set up the GPS..... you can place section markers as you travel round on a warm up lap..... so times can be measured between points..... auto i think tracks from point to point as mentioned above...... but only having played once got it showing my best laps times via each session at Silverstone.....
