Hello all, Recently bought a RR9 and this is my first bike with a dip stick. Can I just leave bike for 5 mins after ride out. Check oil. Then know its ok to go next time I pull bike out without having to do what manual says?? Just wondering how every one else does it. Previous R1 had a window so just a quick view when getting on bike was needed.
Keep the bike straight when checking your oil.I rest the foot peg against my leg.Unscrew the dipstick,wipe it then rest it back in the hole then pull it out.no need to screw it in when checking oil.Once filled,screw the dipstick back in.
