Ok, last night shift of the month. Had an easy night ahead planned, but it never happens right? Got And and Dec coming to town this weekend, so we had to help the film crew out putting a fibre optic cable across the tramway to Blackpool tower. Pi££ easy job, took all of an hour, just coming down from the job to go and switch back on ready for mornings service. Just touched down and in the distance. BOOM!! That didn't sound very healthy of we go to investigate. I'll add now no one was injured so I feel it's ok to post? What I saw on arrival Taxi anyone? These two pictures could upset one member. I'm sorry, there was nothing we could do. Personally, I think it will polish out? So there you have it, 6 hours in my life. This was the second during my week of nights. FFS I only do five But on the plus side, if you bought your missus a mini cooper? You know she's as safe as houses. The cages passenger area was pretty much untouched. I said no one was injured during the crash, I suspect that has changed some now, as the young lad, who legged it from the sceen btw, decided to take mummy's car out without consent. Licence or of course, insurance. Ouch. Now that's going to sting! Have a safe weekend. Please.
Thanks for that Gary. They're obviously not the piece of crap I've always taken them for. However, and despite any flaming from their, frankly, psychotic fans, I used to rally in a 'real' mini and would not allow any child I was unfortunate enough to win in a raffle or however else it is you get lumbered with them, anywhere near them, they were bloody death traps. So BMW have, at least got that going for the hateful thing they dare to call Mini. Oh and Eyore, I'm touched by your loss.
