Running Hot?

Hi I have a 2011 blade rode it for 1st time few days ago 11 degrees outside temp gauge read +95 for most of ride and fan cut in in town. Previous owner says it's normal they run hot. What's the consensus,

My 09 run at 78 degrees on the open road. It does run a higher temp in town centres.

 

Seems ages since I last rode mine for any length of time but think normal is about 78 +/- a few degrees.

 

Yep, same as GG, my 2011 consistently 77 -79 on open road, with fan cutting in at about 100 in town.
