Carl, for the second time this week, have you left the top off the Airfix glue again, or is the Coffee shop in Amsterdam?

Sitting at home, waiting for the Sky engineer. One of the LNB'S has packed up for the box in my favourite chill out room and I won't be able to series link this year's racing without it.

That's a pretty thin bike reference.

How about sitting on the number 168 bus stuck in traffic between Waterloo and Elephant and Cattle watching the motorcycles whiz past and wishing the sun was shining and I was on one of them.

Tell me about it, a few years ago at the same place in the aptly named Mandela Way TfL offices a meeting over ran and when I left it was getting dark, I have two choices to walk back to the bus stop on Old Kent Road. The long walk round or the short way through a narrow alleyway with blind bends, took the ally and was accosted by a bunch of diamond white swilling old guys, it took a punch in the face to one for them to back off and let me past. When I mentioned it some time later my contact here said " fcuk me David, you muppet, you never go that way even in day light" call me chicken but I have walked the long way ever since.

Do you know that the last bus i ever used was 40 years ago .I know this because i passed my test at 17 and got a firms transit and never had to endure the foul stinking breath of all those pricks sat coughing every morning .As i remember the company at the time was either Ribble bus company and Selnec .And i bet there are some bus spotters on here who will verify this.

Bloody Hell Giv you don’t look 57. You must have had a really easy paper round.

Yes I remember Ribble, it got swallowed by British Bus which in turn got swallowed by Arriva. I don’t recall Selnec, but then I am not as old as you, A !

PMSL, Jesus Giv, 1973 reg decker. I was 11 and still in short trousers mate chucking water bombs out the top deck hopper windows of WMPTE buses on the way back from School. As for being rich, I got divorced with two kids! Do you really think I would be travelling round the smoke on a bus if I didn’t have to? I don’t think my expense account would stand me using Addison Lee. Needs must mate, but unfortunately my babies don’t run on the 168.
