    Hi fitted a Tom Tom rider last week fitted it direct to battery terminals all seemed ok haven't been out for a week went to start bike today and battery completely flat now the Sat Nav was off but fitted to the cradle would it be drawing power any ideas many thanks.Boo

    If it is the same as a Garmin then it will have an internal battery, so yes it would drain the battery to some degree.

    What U shoulda done is fitted a Optimate Weatherproof USB connector direct to the Battery with the Female USB end mounted in the Dash area.

    This has a built in cutoff which detects when the ignition is switched off preventing what you've experienced.

    It also allows connection of any other USB connected device which is just about anything made nowadays!

    Got one on my on the fly mobile under seat charging system, cuts off when battery get lower than 12.4 volts. Well worth £25
