Decided to get up early last Saturday, had a fab run down through Cheshire, Ellesmere, Oswestry, Newtown, Aberystwyth then down the coast to New Quay then my fave little bay Cwmtydu. On to Aberporth, back up for pie n chips at The Big Bite Aberaeron (saw some guys en route to Tenby) then back ooop north, nearly 400 miles in the day. will post some pics soon.
Love that sort of 'I'm up early and off the for a 3 tanks of juice type day' - reminds me of the day me and Steve (Firebloke) had last September where we ended up in Scotland, took loads of pictures and had an epic / unplanned day on the bikes. Sometimes its just easier to head off solo when the mood takes you Please post route - my tip of that Saturday would have been bathers under leathers and a quick swim at the coast to refresh before carrying on - makes a world of difference
