I've used EBC, SBS and OEM over the years. Generally just bought which ever was the cheapest available at the time. Being all sintered and generally for road use they perform similar. However my last set of SBS only lasted about 3.5k miles which I put to really wet/dirty motorway riding but I did notice significant lipping on the discs to the point I bought both EBC and SBS pads to compare the top pad is SBS and significantly smaller (and thinner) than the EBC no wonder it is causing a lip on the discs. Looks like it is SBS is off the shopping list from now on
