Hello everyone, I am looking for a crank position sensor for my 2018 CBR1000RR, the reason is that my sensor has been leaking engine oil through a tiny hole on its front face and the oil got all the way to the harness connector with the help of capillary action. This oil with enough voltage/frequency at high RPM acts as capacitance which shortens the sensors leads causing the bike to cut power completely for a fraction of a second. I have tried limiting the issue by gluing the hole on the sensor and also cutting and extending the length of the cable but with little affect as the oil is still inside. I have decided to replace the sensor with a good one completely. I know that this sensor comes together with the stator as one assembly. So, I am hoping to find an assembly with burnt stator to cut the costs as much as possible. I have enough mechanical and electrical knowledge to replace the sensor alone while avoiding oil leaks or similar issues. The required is a 2017-2019 CBR1000RR stator/CKP sensor assembly, I prefer getting only the sensor with the black rubber seal so that shipping cost would be lower to Istanbul/Turkey. I have a friend in Manchester Wilmslow now who can pay and ship to me. I have seen this ebay listing too, but I am not sure whether to trust the quality or the seller.
