Scorpion or Akrapovic Exhaust on my 2005 blade?

    Been looking to replace my very old and tired looking yoshimura Gp Force can on my RR5 blade.

    I'm definitely going for the full carbon slip on.
    Immediately Akrapovic is considered but it appears that they don't do the full carbon hex shaped can for the 04/05 blades but there is plenty for 06/07 bikes?

    I've had a look at forums suggesting that an 06/07 exhaust will fit a RR5? Maybe someone could confirm this?

    Anyway. Im now looking at Scorpion exhausts. Which I love the look of!!!

    Anyone any experience with these on a RR5? Sound? Fitting?

    Akra for me although my mate does the r and d for Scorpion, quality gear but the Akra is the money shot! :D

    I had a Scorpion on my 07 and have another one on my new bike. They look good and sound brilliant.

    Cheers for your reponses guys.

    Spoke to two Akra UK stockists today and both said that Akra didn't make the full carbon end can for a 05. It was only 06 and on. Along with a very grey area on whether an 06 would fit an 05 without any persuasion (which I don't want to do)

    Having listened to a few scorpions online. They are starting to take my fancy.

    With regards to my yoshi. The previous owner has drilled and bolted (looks to be sealed) a homemade right angled bracket in order to hang the reg plate under the can !!!:eek:

    Id go for the Akro unless you find a bargain Scorpion .

    I got the Akro sounds the dogs danglys and keep a constant sweet note even balls out !

    ive got a stainless scorpion on my 05 blade, it sounds good but if you want looks i would say akro,
