hi just for info the Scotch Piper pub in Lydiate , between Ormskirk and Southport has a bike night every wed.
I have been to the Piper many times then on to Southport mainly this time of the year or later as you do get some cool but nice nights .It seems to have bikes right through the year but mainly greaseballs later as they are proper bikers and will stand talking shite drinking cider all night lol.so may have a liitle meet up with the Firebloke and other locals soon.Ps the bar inside is about the size of an office desk.
