I'll take a 3/8" socket set that will do for any small jobs needing done. Anything else will be an AA job.

Gaffer tape, cable ties, multi tool,
USB charger fed from cig socket with cables for phone and gopro
    Memory cards
Camera, camera battery charger with 12v adapter
    Sunglasses
    documents
allen keys + bike toolkit and can of tyre weld
    First aid kit
    dark visor, visor cleaner
    chain lube
bike cleaner / polish (will ask if hotels can loan us a bucket / hose)
    Afterbite cream / repellant
    Map of Scotlandshire

if you think the above is excessive remember its over 1,000 for most so 20,000 miles total - over 3 / 4 days that is a lot more than most do and bikes and kit need a bit of TLC - also 'things happen' on trips like this

Steve , its all in the planning - that is what you and Gary should prob. take to Spain, plus spare bulbs and a warning triangle (that's a joke the last bit)

    Bike mounted camcorders (front &rear).
    Waterproofs
Winter gloves & coldkillers in case it gets cold

ALWAYS!! And a alarm fob if you have one - pesky things always go wrong / flat / crazy on tour when you least need them too....
