Most models fit, see specific instructions for your bike here:

I have an e-system on my Z1000SX and it’s great. Might get one for my blade when I’ve used up my massive stock of chain sprays…

Awesome, does that mean these kits are all universal? So I could buy any v kit?

I’d consider what you use the bike for. All weathers then a scottoiler is a good idea. If it is merely a pleasure machine, I wouldn’t bother. Manual oiling is all you need.

I use a pro-oiler on one of my bikes. It is very good, a bit like the e scottoiler, but unless I was commuting I wouldn’t bother again.

I do use her a lot through the summer. I've had her for 2 weeks and done 1000 miles so think the Scott oiler is the best idea

Personal choice. I’ve used mine for touring Southern France, Scotland, Isle of Man etc and been quite happy with Wurth dry lube. No mess (even a well set up oiler is a little messy) and no real hassle to spend 5 mins giving it a spray each evening.

Whatever you decide, avoid the std scottoiler. They’re shite. Blockages, over oiling/ u set oiling depending on ambient temperature. Either buy the E oiler or a Pro-oiler. The NS has had a pro-oiler fitted for over 15 years. It does make a chain pretty much fit and forget. Just a Cnut when you remove the rear wheel refitting it and cleaning everything up.

I put a standard unit on my Daytona 650 when i got it in 2014 and its still working fine (my mate bought and still has it). I then fitted the sport version on my first blade in 2018 and transferred it on to the black edition later that same year. Four years later I’ve been very happy. Only issue is you can’t buy the sport version anymore - same as the standard one but the reservoir is only about 2/3 as long, so fits easier under the rear seat.
