Hello,.ive got a 2016 black edition ,just wondering if anyone else has noticed the scuffing on the swing arm right hand side from their heel ?I find this strange because my boots are a softish rubber unlike the alpinestars and such like where the rubber is hard !, Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Mine has some protective plastic in these areas to stop this. Think it must be part of the ventureshield kit? Might be worth looking into.
Doesn't matter if your boots have hard or soft rubber soles! If they're rubbing against swingarm it will scuff
''Tis funny cos a few months ago I was knocked off it and when I went for repair the guy looked at the scuff mark and said o that will need replacing as it shouldn't happen ! to the tune of 1600 quid (insurance job), which they did ,I've had the bike back about a month and the same thing has happened ! Thats mine was badly scuffed to be fair but i dont care to much about i looking perfect, pref the racebike look
I have an unused Blevin engineering bespoke one somewhere that I never fitted, I'll see if I can find it and stick it in the ads section.
