Seat Cowl (No chinese ABS rubbish)

    Yo everybody

    Lookin for a seat cowl for my 2010, don't reaaaaally wanna pay £190 for a genuine honda one (quoted today from castle honda). I have the black and white color scheme so just lookin for a cowl that will match either the white or black not fussed which. Powerbronze do an OKish match to the black but was wondering if you knowledgeable folks had any other ideas?

    I got one from hong kong , quality and colour match was spot on.

    only thing I have ever heard was some people getting ones that rubbed the fairing but that
    would be fixed in a minute with a file.also look for ones with metal clips as if they are like
    mine I cant see them ever falling off.

    My Honda one rubbed the fairing mate so that's not really a fault of a cheaper one!!!

    I've sent them an email as theyonly supply up to 2009 there's nothing for the 2011 models.

    I'll let you know what they reply.

    It's always amazed me that Honda are unable to make a seat cowl that doesn't rub and has to be fitted with rubber spacers and protective film when every other manufacturer can manage it !

    Although mine is a genuine Honda I have a mate who has a chinese copy on his 2008 model and it ain't far of on quality and he ain't had any issues with it. Got to be worth a punt.

    They are all the same, I tried my one off my old 09 onto my 12 and fitted perfectly. Mine was also a Chinese/Hong Kong one ( Company no longer trading )and the only issue I had with it was the plastic bum stop came off which I replaced with seat foam.I have an official Honda one for my 12 and there is no difference at all apart from the Honda decals !

    OK people I've taken the plunge! Just ordered a black seat cowl for my 2010 from hong kong, £20 posted... Anyone ever ordered a black cowl? The graphite black on the blade is hard to match I know powerbronze cant match it lol
