I'm just wondering if anyone else who rides two up has experienced this , I came to clean my blade (09) the other day and noticed the edge of the seat right above the right hand pillion foot peg had worn right through to the padding,so after offering the missus's boot up to the peg I've come to the conclusion that it's the plastic(vertebrae thingy) that has rubbed through the covering of the seat, this only after a couple hours ride  annoyed to say the least had to buy another seat yesterday, has anyone had a seat recovered with something more durable.

Yes there's a guy up Scotland way whose done loads of Bike seats including mine.

Budget around £45-75 plus return postage, it's usually about a 4-5 day turnaround from you posting your seat off.

Far cheaper than a new seat and you can have comfort foam fitted at next to no extra cost.

No mate ,they're only Frank Thomas Venus boots ,but they've got more plastic bits and screws than Connor Cummins ,she's got orders to wear her leathers over her boots now or stay off the bike;) it looks like I'll have to buy her some new less vicious boots soon.
