I’m not sure it’s enough to get me to Weston, but I like the concept.

If that was tax payers money then absolutely agree. I thought it was a private company when I saw it, surely no ones so bloody stupid to spend public on that? Are they?? Maybe Kwasi is the CEO

120 million given by the government in 2018 to the arts Council for this and 9 other installations.....Given its the second worst seaside resort in Britain they'd have been better spending the money improving the town for the residents and any poor sods having the misfortune to visit it

It was on BBC news at six a few weeks ago, it was commissioned by a private company but somehow qualified for a grant from the government and apparently locals were in uproar about it! And rightly so ......abomination!!!

120 million would have been better spent on a new Bike Museum that we could all appreciate. (There could always be a shed at the back for the Italian ones)

'A vivid reminder of our industrial past...' do these people realise how busy it's getting back in the north sea? the industry is definitely booming at the minute!
