Hi people, having just got some Gilles Vario bars thought i might look at taking the clip-ons off or loosening everything off but the switch screws are not moving at all, would it be easier to get them out when i remove the standard clip-ons or keep trying with them in place, any ideas would be a great help. many thanks Phil
Are you using a JIS screwdriver? If you haven't got one then I think a PZ2 is the closest match to the JIS.
Most tool suppliers can get them, look for your nearest sealey supplier. https://www.sealey.co.uk/product/5637750680/4pc-jis-screwdriver-set Many other companies make them as well.
US PRO 1616 Tools 4 Piece Japanese Industry Standard Screwdriver Set JIS ph1,2,3 https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07W4VXDRV/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_J94YBRMD0PT9SD62P3XM These are decent enough for the money. All cross headed screws on Japanese motorcycles are JIS by the way.
just got a PZ2 from screwfix, they still won't budge think i might just have to take the clip ons off then butcher them off and get replacements
