Hi guys, Looking to sale the old girl, 2010 ABS blade approx 7k miles, loads of extras, Titax levers, Leo Vince exhaust, R & G tail tidy, axle protectors, Yoshi chain adjusters, double bubble, brand new gold DID chain and renthal anodised sprockets, no expennse spaired. Currently on Bridgestone S20 Evo's and just had it's MOT test, straight through no advisories etc. I also have all original parts etc. My bike started life in urban tiger livery but about 2ish years ago i had it painted by spraybay in the Honda TT legends livery, if you search the forum you will find pics etc for what i had done. I have since had venture shield fitted by an approved installer, some good advise from this forum! The bike has painted headlight protectors and rim tape to look as near to the real thing as poss. Those in the know will appreciate that Spraybay paint the factory bikes for Honda and the quality of their work is second to none, even ths inside of the panels have been painted. Bike is in cracking condition, hardly gets ridden anymore but no idea what i should be asking for it? but looking for some guidance off you clever lot and then i'll be putting her up. I would say work on £6,000 to £6,250 for the bike private without the paint. You then need to find somebody who really wants a replica and you may get nearer £7k for it. Poor time of year - can you hold for Spring time ?
Paint can make purchasers ignore it for fear of it having been binned. You'd need to make a big thing of it in the ad the fact it has never ben damaged and was done from choice.
Difficult, but my 2012 hasnt sold on here for £7k and that's 6700 miles and just one owner from new. I'd sell for £6800 but I reckon its worth more. I'm sure yours is worth £6k but If mine is anything to go by you won't get it.
As a private buyer, I'd be looking (for guidance only), a2006 bike £3500, the plus £500 per year. As said before, being painted doesn't always add value.
Cheers guys. I thought about people wandering if it had been binned so I took loads of pics before during and after. If I could get 6k with all the extras on it I would be happy. Forgot also about heal tech gear indicator also and seat cowl. Maybe wait until spring?
No idea bud. Maybe mull it over the cold winter months. My last 3 bikes have been blades. Love em! Had a cross plane r1 in between for a few months but wasn't a fan? Pal has new s1000rr and this is an amazing bike. Honda need to bring something new out to keep up imo though?
