Just bought 2x4 litres of this oil on eBay for £50 but am now wishing I hadn't as I'm concerned about fake oil being sold on the net. The seller is called star-0121 from Birmingham. Has anyone had any experience with this seller? Already done the oil change but not going to ride the bike anymore until I'm satisfied. Convinced the engine is now making noises that it didn't before the change. The other 4 litres were going in my Ducati. Help! Cheers.

I doubt it's fake IMO, also even IF a cheap oil I doubt it would cause a problem for some time, oil is a greatly debated subject with many views and opinions. For the Ducati (most late) I'd run 15w50 in the same brand IMO.

Fake products often have poorly printed labels and low quality containers IF the oil is one with colour then sometimes that can give a clue...

Was it worth it ? I agree that we pay a lot for certain products....... should have used someone like these boys....? or contact Shell for maybe a product test ? and get this(providing he is) dodgy seller investigated !.........
