Shipping to the USA?

    Guys need to send a small box to USA - shall i pop to the post office or is there a cheaper service available that anyone knows of?

    as i have no idea of costs and time for delivery?

    Depends on weight mate, RM is quite good for stuff that goes as a Small Packet size and weight.

    You will need a customs dec as well.

    Also search the web for 'Parcel shipping' lots of brokers offer very good rates using the major global carriers

    Its a part for my remote control car going back for repair...will I have to declare customs? Will this cost me?

    Weight less the 2kg

    Sometimes it is just as cheap to used RM, under 2kg sent international economy is around £13.80 ( Tracked and signed is £28 !! ), Parcel Monkey is about £16 ish

    You have to declare why its going there, but for a return and repair you will not have to pay import duties /tax etc.... well you might if the docs are not up too scratch, then you need to make HMRC aware when its coming back that you have only shipped it out for repair, and if necessary prove it with your original sales invoice and your return shipping declaration.

    I think anything sent overseas has to have some sort of customs note confirming what it is.
    Last item I sent oversea's was one of my daughters wigs that she bought when she was first diagnosed with cancer at 23 years of age (she is in full remission now) she sold it on ebay to someone in Sweden, the guy in the post office gave me a bit of a weird look when I declared what the item was.
