I like the Shoei Quest like this But I also like the Shark RSi in Ornage but after touring like the Evoline most practical for me wearing glasses and when touring would be the last one. and when in 35+ heat having the front open for around towns would be idea. I can also wear it in the kit car Anyone have any experience of the above. my preference is the orange Shark for looks I will be trying all before buying
Iv been thinking about buying a Shark lid mate . The ones the BSB boys use are a really nice shape . My Arai will be 2 years old in march and it breaks my hart every time i chip it so i might keep it for best and get a nice shark lid Iv had 1 before and it had a 5 year warranty . I paid about 300 for it and it was a really comfortable lid and looked top notch to . I only bought the aria as i had a slow speed crash and hit my head on the floor so done the right thing and got a new one even thou the shark looked fine My opinion is go for the shark RSI . matches your bike and looks a stunning shape
Had a Shark, didn't like it - used to lift at 80+mph Loved my Shoei, but a total convert to HJC (got the Spies rep). Muchos lighter & more comfortable.
I have just bought a Nexx XR1R Carbon, and it is superb, so light, mega comfortable and quiet. I have had arai's, shoei's and AVG's in the past, but this is my best lid yet, by a mile!
I have a shark patriot, its a good lid, but does not offer the same periphial vision as my AGV. I only found this out on my first outing out on the bike. The cheak pads seem to be fuller than my other crash helmets. If your going to get one make sure you try it on whilst sitting on the bike or a bike with the same riding position, when you do your lifesaver you may find the vision is not quite as you are used too.
