short boots

thinking of buying a short boot for summer use .. something like sidi streetburners etc

any thought or expeirences

I had a pair, couldn't get on with them, kept getting caught up on the bike

 

Only comment i could make is would they fully protect your leg or foot ?if the answer is no then leave them in the fashion warehouse.

 

Excactly my concerns .. thinking leathers could just ride up if i had a off

 

Full length boots all year for me. I would never use short cuff gloves either.

 

I like my ankles/shins/calves too much. would worry in case of an off or a foot trapped under the bike in a lowside
