Should i use my spare 180/55/17's on my RR5 ?

    I have a spare pair of really good Bridgestone BT016 tyres from my ZX6R. Is it worth using them on the back of the blade or should i be flogging them on to fund the correct 190 size equivalents?

    I've got a mate who swears by fitting 180/55s to his Gixer 1000 to give a faster turn in, so it can be done but personally I wouldn't.

    I think it would stretch the profile out giving a king of squared off profile.
