If i want to remove the side stand on 09 blade, any ideas what I need to do with the wires? turning bike into track bike, reason for removal, also anyone thats done it..how akward is it getting off everytime and putting it on the paddock stand on your own, hoping to have an assistant with me most track days though (mrs or my dad, brother, little nephew, cat etc :) )

Cheers mate, can you fit the race belly pan with the stand left on the bike? My logic is I'll always have someone with me on track days, at home I can take belly pan off and use side stand when I'm there on my own and want to move the bike round etc

    Just joint the wires together.

Easy getting it on the stand on your own, I do it every race ;)

looking at that vid it looks like a stock belly pan? Gonna have to cut any race belly pan on the stand side if I leave it on, only reason I was going to take it off rather than cut into a perfectly fine belly pan... thats why I was thinking of leaving stand on and leaving belly pan as bought and just taking it off when Im on my own to move around. Only thing is Im not sure about is will the belly fit with the side stand still on the bike?

I have race body work and would need to lob alot off it for the stand to work. I just removed stand and left the switch inplace. I should just link out the wires but totally forgot.

Its easy to get the paddock stand under it on your own. Or lean against fence or wall.

    If its a pain, refit!!!
