    Hi,
My track bike keeps on cutting out. I've assured it's the side stand switch. The switch has long since been removed. Can anyone guide me to the plug I need to short out? The wiring has most likely been removed and hidden deep in the loom.

    Cheers.

You're gonna have to start where the side stand was and work your way about a foot or so up and forward a bit. Look for a 2 pin socket above the clutch cover.

Think I've found it. I'll pull the heat shrink off and take a look in the morning.
    Thanks.

Is this the right spot? I thought I was looking at two wires shorted out. There is only one wire/connection.
Have a track night starting at 6pm. Any help would be great.

Cheers. I've got a 2009. Might be looking in the wrong place.

I'd imagine it's in a similar place as I noticed the cables are the same length on the side stand when I was looking to replace the missing stand on my track bike. Should definitely be 2 pin though, and shorted to make it work.

Can you show us the area forward of your gear selector shaft, should be around there.
