sidelight

    just tried a led 501 in the blade and it wont light up, do i need a resistor. thought a sidelight wouldnt need one.

    Not my subject, mate but I thought 501's were for vehicles with sophisticated CAN-bus control systems that ditributes data and power depending on the requirement. I would suppose without that, you'd need an inline resistor.

    But I am only spitballing and I'm no techie.

    Is it the right way round? LEDs won't work if the polarity is wrong.

    yep put it in the wrong way round, works now thanks.
