been thinking about one for a while.. so **** it, decided to order one today even though I've already spend too much on the carbon prince this month... Its been an expensive month with the Fast Bikes photo shoot costing me a small fortune (not a penny offered in contribution btw.. not even a sticker!)

plus all the other crap i've ordered + an extra fancy pants clutch.. just as well I keep a separate Ebay account from the trouble and strife ;)

Are they any good? i.e. whats your experience with them ;)

You'd have thought they could have given you a free subscription for a year?

I'm on my first slipper clutch being a Sigma fitted to my RR6 track bike. I like the way I can kick right down through the gears at the end of the straights without fear of raising the engine revs through the roof and locking up the rear. I've done the same tracks on my RR5 road bike that doesn't have a slipper clutch and have relied mainly on the front brake and working my way down the box more carefully (it's still my road bike after all), but have felt the back wave around a little back backing off the brake to settle in for the turn. This doesn't happen with the slipper clutch.

nice one.. quite looking forward to getting it in the bike. For now Im still using my road bike on track (trying for once a month) so I guess the benefits on the road will be less. Guess it must be weird with little / no engine braking?

I wouldn't have thought you would really use it on the road as even on track you only really use it take help take the speed off while keeping the bike settled. I can still feel the engine braking, but it's far far smoother as there isn't enough drag from the rear wheel to lock it up. Budget for a decent clutch though. I'm using this one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/EBC-SRC-K...141?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item20e972b49d

Picking one up Friday, planning to fit it the following week. Been told that It will eliminate rear wheel lock ups when down shifting and should also increase corner speed due to less engine breaking.

I checked their website and mine came already setup. When I had new plates fitted by my local garage they said that there was no adjustments needed either as they are designed to run with OE clutch plates.
