Evening all, As some of you know i won the second prize in the MW Solicitors draw and that was a trackday at Silverstone GP circuit... one of my dreams... sooo.. i've booked up on the GP day on the 5th May with MSV - the only full GP date they've released for the year so far. Anyone else going? Would be great to get some pointers as i'm still just a novice! Just hope the weather is kind to me in May!!!
Enjoy it, I've only been on Silverstone in a car but remember its massive like a motorway and bloody fast! You will love it
its awesome mate. fast, flowing but there is gallons of run off it you want to put a bit more effort in and overcook it. you wont be disappointed

Just sold my spot on this day because my bike isn't ready. Won't find it on MSV because it's not an MSV circuit. This is an amazing track, and defo one of my favs. Have a good day.
Cool, what group are you expecting to be in? Think we're staying a few miles away the night before, will check where later. Looking at staying in Snoozebox the night after for a few beers and hopefully (!) toasting a good day!
Not exactly sure my friends booked it, should be inters but novices fine especially if its wet ! what group have you booked ? i saw that snooze box when browsing for accommodation , is it in the circuit then ? i think well get a local travelodge night before then travel home after it
Think I'll be in novice but don't know as it's based on the questions they ask. Looks to be wet at the minute on the forecasts yeah, snooze box is just at the edge of the circuit - 2min ride and open a beer
Ah i see, i wondered why they did not ask andy which group when he booked it, i need to ring them anyway as both the bookings are in his name on the conformation, not sure it will make any difference but want to check. theres out better than swilling a cold one after a day on track, i will have to check my work commitments. i hope its dry i have the wet !!
