I'm looking at getting a Yoshi Slip on very soon.

What's the advantage of getting a full system ?

The headers and link pipes are advertsised as being Stainless Steel not Titanium so I doubt there is a big weight saving.

    Yoshi full system.........................nice:)

Good luck if you do matey, the wallet might end up being a hell of a lot lighter......................so there will be a big weight saving there :D

The headers will be lighter than the OE, however I don't think you will get a massive increase in BHP, maybe 2-3 over the OE headers as they are very good from what I have heard in the past.

Saying that It would not stop me getting a full system, the Akrapovic full race conical I had on the R1 was amazing quality, much lighter and sounded better than any of the cans I had tried before, its all down to what you want and budget really.

If the headers are stainless like the OE headers what's different about them to make them lighter ?

    Much thinner walls ?

I can't see any weights details on the Yoshimura site but found these power figures. Odd that there's a 7.5 HP difference between the two stock figures. Different dynos on different days or a cock up ?

Seems strange that the full system would make less than the slip-on

My Akra was stainless and was much thinner than the OE so was much lighter, its hard to make a decision with out seeing the system and being able to compare :(

Why would they do that...lol Maybe it was a bad day for dyno when they did the full system??? I know they should put up the true results but they should have had a look at those numbers before they went to press...lol

Any way full system for me all day long, end cans are just a stepping stone to the full monty!..lol

Akra all day long too don't know where Yosh are getting the stainless from these days but its not like it used to be thats for sure...

    Akra or Arrow :D

Mines a full yoshi system.......the build quality and fitment is spot on!
Only down side was that it is a real pig to get the fairing off to fit the headers!

If I don't get an extra 8 or more bhp from my full arata system, pc, custom map and race filter etc I might just cry even though it is gonna look pretty with a matt black silencer.
