Fitted this Smart Moto servo eliminator today. Fitted onto the original Honda multi-plug clip. Saves a bit of weight, but most of all, it frees up a load of space for my quickshiter module. Well pleased.
Nice find. I'd already ordered a cheap copy just to remove the servo motor, but if it turns out to be rubbish then I'll get on of those. Did you find a better deal that this? https://smartmoto-electronics.com/s...o_brand_id=2&moto_model_id=215&moto_year=2013
I ordered it off eBay. It was £41.90 + £6.00 delivery from Greece. It only took about 5 days to arrive. I like the fact that it fits really nice on the honda original clip.
Watched this video and decided that fitting was within my capabilities. So just got one of these on order off eBay, coming from Greece as you mentioned @7belowzero.
I've disconnected the cable from mine so the flaps are all ways open. But the motor is still there. No lights on ..but if I need the space I'll do what you've done and bin it. I'm not worried about weight as I'm a fat barstard anyway
Yeah! I think the weight saving is negligible, but with the motor gone it opens up a lovely big space.
Had it to do for a couple of weeks since it arrived, but it’s just been unbelievably busy for the last 4 months it’s untrue. Anyway, had opportunity early this morning whilst it was still a bit wet on the ground and got it fitted before I went out (at long long last). Not changing from the stock exhaust. I only did it to get rid of the annoying change in exhaust sound when the flap opened and closed, but pleased with the result.
