Over the last 12k the bikes not as smooth. I know it's not had a re map/power com or been on a dyno. Just spent a lot on it so just looking for the least expensive fix at the mo, and any recommendations for doing it in the south/west Yorks or derbyshire area

Which bit isn't as smooth, the ride, engine, gearbox? Sounds like you mean engine? Could just be me being dumb as usual :eek:

Sorry my bad being a bit vague, generally it's hunting and a bit all over the place etc much worse, especially in commute traffic. I've been lazy & got used to it instead of fettling it tbh

Thanks for suggestion but I've tried that & no difference, it's worse in 2nd surging suddenly! It's serviced regular & I maintain it well but this last year it's slowly got worse, I'm averaging 13k a year & things like the oil consumption have actually got better!

Has the bike been modified at all?

I would at least look at the air filters... my bike has had a very easy life, nonetheless, at 7500 miles the air filters had great streaks of thick chud up in them!!!

Have you re-set your ECU recently?

Disconnect battery for half hour ... Connect and start up, don't touch throttle. Let fans cut in then turn off. Done :)
