Had the weekend all mapped out. Family stuff on Saturday morning and afternoon and then my time on Sat evening and Sunday. Was going to do an oil change; sort the rear loom layout; get the replacement rear cowl fitted; clean the side fairings and belly pan whilst they were off the bike; clear the error codes from the ecu; and have a look at that exhaust servo bits to see what had been removed and get ready to fit the servobuddy next weekend.

Instead it's been all weekend at the hospital as Eldest was taken bad yesterday morning. At first it seemed like just a bad gut ache, but after the debacle that is 111, it ended with as rapid a drive to the hospital as you can with a 1.6 10 year old Astra and the eldest screaming in agony. He's had the hospital totally baffled. First they suspected appendicitis, then a few other things until now they "think" it might be a virus. He's much better then he was but still gets temperature spikes with the odd delusion thrown in, best was late yesterday when he thought he was a Unicorn and the beep from the IV meant it was going to blow up PMSL

Anyways weekend is totally blown, bike is still in bits but it doesn't seem to matter. Hope the rest if you have had a less eventful weekend.

Hope he feels OK soon. It is always a worry when children get ill.

Hopefully your next lot of weekend plans will go better..................and with no unicorns.

Thanks all. He came home last night. All seemed good but wife just text and he is having a bit if a relapse, this time it is his throat so may be tonsillitis after all.

Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery.

I too spent the better part of yesterday at A&E, escorting a 78 year old 'child'.

What fun places, full of barely surpressed hostility they are. Especially when the bag lady opposite began flashing her thre'penny bits at me while she scrubbed her pits with a wet wipe...
