Thanks Martin, you've just made my willy shrink back inside my belly. It'll be lost forever.

I need to get my mate to show some of his from his accident.

Could only go and see him a week after the crash as he was on life support, but even then I actually vomited as soon as I seen him.

Amazing though as he is still back on a bike (R6) and says he'll never give it up.

You can't give up its in the blood, I died at scene, was in hospital 6.5months, was told I wouldn't walk again, fought for 2 years to learn to walk again just so I could get on a bike, knee and hip just replaced at 28
Oh after my first op 8 years ago which was 11.5 hours long I apparently came round off my head on morfine And asked for a bike trader lol

Sounds much like my mate, but obviously that's just a guess on my part.

Don't want to go into detail without him letting me talk about it but the way he sees it now is that you only have 1 very serious accident and he's had his. (not that he isn't more careful than ever)

He only does maybe a thousand miles a year now, but he still loves it, and is always wanting to know what I've been up to.

Must admit I broke quite a few bones that day, ribs, collar bones, hip, knee, wrist, hand, thumb, a toe (it all counts lol) a few more bits broken and chipped etc but I couldn't feel that over the pain in my femur its deffinatley the most painful one to break! What didn't help is it snapped in places and one bit pinned the sciatic nerve against the muscle wall nearly cutting it which would of stopped me walking game over, but it was making my leg spasm making the pain worse lol.
I can't ride very far these days but I enjoy the small bits I do, although it does make you maybe a little over cautious at times

Was his forearm, ulnar and radius? Proper snapped - was hanging about 45 degrees!! It's all he broke which is amazing considering the accident.

Car pulled out on him and he got on anchors so hard the rear was in the air on impact which then sort of flipped te bike more, shot him like a bucking bronco over the car clear of impact like a cannon ball. He broke his arm as he landed about 30 yards down the road superman stylie...

Honestly it was awful, impact was so hard his sidi boots came off and all the zips on his a stars burst.... Strange though, reading that back it sounds hilarious lol

I have no words, Martin

I've never done anything to my skeletal structure until this year at the age of 38 when I had my quad bike accident on holiday and disclocated my shoulder and crushed the bone on the side of the greater tuberosity. That's been a proper PIA that's taken some time to get proper movement back. Absolutely no idea how you've managed to sort out that lot!! :D

Started off with screws, plates, bolts, wires and nails/bars, then this year replacement joints.
I think I have had 15 ops in 8 years so glad to see the end lol
I get on alot better since replacements stairs I struggle with a bit at the mo but just got to keep at the physio

I saw yours the other day I'm not comparing scars with you! If you join all mine together it's probably the same but that is one impressive scar mate!
What caused your back to do that?

I once broke my little toe by kicking a doorframe barefooted

I'm not sure how I've not hurt myself more seriously over the years with all the skiing, snowboarding, mountainbiking, enduro etc.

    They're some pretty epic injuries.
